FAQ

1. What is The Coulson Organisation?

We are contracted to an international group of specialist direct marketing companies called  Appco We are contracted to represent a variety of businesses that either do not have their own sales/marketing team or find that it is much more economical to outsource the work. We provide these companies with a dedicated, product trained and professional team to market their products and/or services.

2. What type of companies does The Coulson Organisation represent?

We market products and services from various sectors like charities, Pay TV, utilities, financial services and insurance sectors, and of course we are constantly researching new business sectors to continue our expansion.

3. What do these companies ask The Coulson Organisation to do?

In simple terms, acquire new customers and raise their brand profile. We go and get new customers for clients and fundraise for charities allowing them to focus on their core activity whether that is saving lives, helping animals, heating and insulating your home or providing you with great programmes on your TV.

4. How does The Coulson Organisation represent these companies?

We simply talk to people in the comfort and safety of their homes. At home people are tired of TV adverts and junk mail. Everyone prefers a conversation where they can be listened to and express their opinion. We call this a 'Human Commercial'.

5. What would my responsibilities be?

Your main responsibility would be to provide clear and concise information regarding the clients' product/service in a positive and professional manner. After product training and sales coaching you will literally 'be' the client in the eyes of the customer. So your main responsibility is to be an ambassador for the client.

6. What skills would I need?

You should have a positive approach towards your work, strong communication skills, brilliant customer service skills and the ability to work within an enthusiastic environment. The ability to set and achieve goals is a must. You should also have the maturity and self-motivation to work without constant supervision.

7. What impact would I have when representing a client?

The primary impact is an instant increase in brand awareness for the client due to the number of 'Human Commercials' that are being delivered. The secondary impact is the revenue generated from the newly acquired customers. Although these revenues vary from campaign to campaign, studies have shown that in an average year each representative will generate in excess of £350,000 for the clients through new customer spending.

8. Are there targets that I would have to achieve?

There are standards to aim for and criteria to be reached in order to progress through the Business Advancement Programme. You will decide your own targets to decide the pace at which you want to climb the ladder.
